Who are we?

We are Wiggies Barbershop. For nearly 4 decades, Our barbershop has operated in the affluent town of Sawbridgeworth. Home to some of Britain's celebrity elite. Our traditional English barbershop gives a nod to days of old barbers by keeping the much loved walk-in service and is a hub for conversation and local news.

Read below to find out what sets us apart from other shops and why you can confidently choose us when you next need a haircut or shave and learn about our heritage through our collection of photographs.

What makes us different from all the other barber shops and unisex salons?

Its our wealth of knowledge in the industry, the fact that we have been doing this for years.

Its also down to the fact that every barber in the Wiggies Barbers team has had the very best of barber training. We train the old school way, Our training is based on a system that's been passed down from generation to generation.

None of our barbers are put through a run of the mill college course or trained en-mass. Every barber employed by Wiggies are trained individually by our very own training academy and are taught the same way of cutting as was the first ever Wiggies barber!

How do I know I can trust you with my hair?

Trusting someone new to cut your hair is a huge thing. We understand that a haircut isn't just a haircut...Its a personal experience and that's why we tailor your cut and service to suit you as an individual.

All of our barbers are also state registered with the Hair Council and can be found at www.haircouncil.org.uk who are a recognised governing body you can trust.
